Guess what! Hollywood's out of being out of ideas! We've seen remakes. We've seen reboots. Now...its time for requels! Sequels that only acknowledge one or more movies in an existing continuity and go on from there. Last weekend's smash hit Halloween (II) showed that a franchise could live again if you got rid of most of the awful chaff sequels that had gummed it up. The Nerdy Venoms talk about this and other possible franchises that could benefit from the requel approach. Plus: a discussion of whether or not Disney's gone to the Dark Side, a look at this fall's anime season, reviews of Halloween and the new season of Daredevil, and the news on this immediately retconned episode of The Nerdy Venoms!

We all discuss what could have been on that list had people who knew what they were doing been in charge, plus a discussion about why AMC's FreakFest sucks...which is really more about how AMC sucks. All this plus reviews of the new Netflix series "The Haunting of Hill House" and "The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell", "Titans" on DC Universe, and the Nerdy News on this week's vocal chord shredding episode of the Nerdy Venoms!

Since its the Private's wedding anniversary and there are no depths this podcast won't probe, that's your topic for this evening.
