Guess what! Hollywood's out of being out of ideas! We've seen remakes. We've seen reboots. Now...its time for requels! Sequels that only acknowledge one or more movies in an existing continuity and go on from there. Last weekend's smash hit Halloween (II) showed that a franchise could live again if you got rid of most of the awful chaff sequels that had gummed it up. The Nerdy Venoms talk about this and other possible franchises that could benefit from the requel approach.
